Second grade remote learning will be accessible through Google Classroom and Seesaw. Individual logins and codes have been sent to each student. If you are having trouble logging in please contact your child's teacher via email.
Lessons and links to lessons will be posted in Google Classroom and Seesaw. Assignments may look different than what you are used to in class. There will be many opportunities to learn away from the computer. We do not expect or want students to be online for hours each day. The work we assign should take about an hour a day.
Our special’s teachers will be sharing assignments through our Seesaw classroom.
Attendance will be taken weekly and will be based on participation and completion of assignments.
We will be grading on the 4 point rubric system. Students should try their best to maintain good scholarly habits: persevere, take risks, problem solve and show excellence in demonstrating your work. This does not mean that it needs to be perfect or that you will understand it yet. We are looking for your best effort.
You may contact your teacher for assistance and to check in during office hours. Mrs. Weber and Ms. Pepler will be available via email Monday-Friday 9AM-10AM and 2PM-3PM. You may email anytime of the day but may not get a response until later.
Mrs. Weber and Ms. Pepler will be offering Zoom help sessions on Monday's at 2:00-2:30PM, Wednesday's 9:00-9:30AM. We will also have Friday Fun Meetings 9:00AM and 2:00PM. A link to join a Zoom meeting will be attached in your Google Classroom, but it will only work during the listed times. If you need a one on one help session please email your teacher to schedule.
We are all new to navigating remote learning. As with any new endeavor, patience and a positive outlook will help everyone be successful.
If you need IT support you can email the district starting April 1
